Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists.
Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.

@elonmusk Of course not! It’s just…it’s too simple to attribute this to “activists” when advertisers (who have lots of incentives to be cautious) are given reasons to be cautious. You wield a lot of power, and (IMO) it would be very good for Twitter for you to do it more thoughtfully.
