Chairman & MD of govt-owned BEL has threatened me with legal action for exposing the PM CARES ventilator scam. He forgot that BEL comes under RTI Act. Filed an RTI with BEL asking how many BEL Skanray CV200 ventilators were sold with funds under PM CARES & at what price. (1/2)

A fun unrelated fact: BEL also manufactures EVMs used in elections. In Sep. 2019, Venkatesh Nayak of @CHRI_INT had filed an RTI with BEL seeking some details on EVMs & VVPAT. They blocked it in a very strange manner. Here's his piece from @thewire_in :
