Few months ago, I was an intern on a farm in Ibadan. There was this particular week, my job was to take care of about 200 units of vegetable nursery Bear in mind that, these nurseries were planted about 3 days before I was posted to that section

All I had to do was to water the nursery bags I did that for the first 2 days On the 3rd day I noticed an early stage of weed infestation on about 70% of the bags And as a diligent intern that I was, I started uprooting the weeds

Let me exclude you from the torture of my long story I weeded the sprouting vegetables alongside the weeds Oh, what a stupid mistake, especially coming from a final year Agriculture student I totally forgot about the vegetables, I was all about the weed

A lot of us are like this, we don't analysis situations before we jump into conclusion and start making wrong decisions The wise thing I could have done was to give time to the vegetables to be edible and visible enough to be differentiated from weeds

Instead I hastily concluded and messed up the whole thing Now read carefully from here. When you want to make a major decision, take your time to analyze the situation critically. Never allow yourself to be pressured into making a wrong call

If you make a wrong decision, the blame would be yours and yours alone Lastly, when analysing situations, it is to your own advantage that you're an open thinker Don't allow indoctrination cloud your thinking You'll make mistakes if you think life revolves only around you
