@Hadithoftheday Dhul-Qarnayn built the wall to keep Yajuj & majuj imprisoned. People during that time complained of corruption by Yajuj and Majuj,they requested Dhul-Qarnayn to make a barrier of wall between them to keep them imprisoned. The barrier was created with iron & copper by Dhul Qarnayn
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an : "They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog (Yajuj)and Magog (Majuj) are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?" (Qur'an: Al-Kahf 18: Verse 94)
@Hadithoftheday The people terrorized by Yajuj and Majuj induced Dhūl-Qarnayn to construct between Yājūj and Mājūj a great wall that neither could scale or penetrate (Qur'an-18:94–97), trapping both between two mountains until just before the Last Judgment day( Qur'an-18:98–100, 21:96)
@Hadithoftheday Yajuj & Majuj, are two hostile, corrupt forces that will ravage the earth before the end of the world. They are mentioned in chapter numbers 18 and 21 of the Qurʾān. The story of Dhul-Qarnayn is all explained in verses : 93-98 of Surah Kahf. Surah kahf is 18th chapter of Qur'an
@Hadithoftheday The appearance of Yajuj and Majuj again will be one of signs of end times. Yajuj and Majuj are monstrous by nature. They like destroying stuff like crops, trees, buildings and people. The coming out of Yajuj and Majuj is a major sign of the coming of the Hour. (Tirmidhi 2183)
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an: Until, when Yajuj and Majuj are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (to fulfillment)…” [Surah al-Anbiyaa:96-97]
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad ﷺ states that they dig under the wall every night trying to escape, only to find each morning that the wall has been restored by Allāh.Only at the appointed time will Allah allow the wall to collapse, freeing Yajuj and Majuj.
@Hadithoftheday The Prophet ﷺ told us that how they will manage to break through : “They excavated each day, until when they are just about to penetrate it, their leader says: ‘Go back so that you can penetrate it tomorrow!’
@Hadithoftheday But Allah makes it return just as it was, until their appointed time, when Allah ordains to send them upon the people, and their leader says: ‘Go back so you can penetrate it tomorrow, if Allah wills.’ So he makes this exception.” (Tirmidhi 3153)
