#Conned_by_Bajaj My ‘Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise ABS’ bike has a bent chassis from bike delivery (21st Feb 2020) it self. Its severe & fatal build defect causing bike to tilt to right during riding. Bajaj Advertises Avenger by tagline ‘Feel like God!’, but now I ‘Feel like Conned.


My few obvious questions are: a. How bent chassis is not caught in PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)? b. How such faulty bike comes to delivery? c. How Bajaj is closing complaint Tickets without any solution or without consent from requestor.(Example ticket# ISR-715623 & ISR-715621)


Even after multiple follow-ups from last 1.5 years, Bajaj is denying to replace bike or bent chassis as well. I won title 'World's Toughest Rider' (Saddle-sore 1000 event organized by Iron Butt Association) on Bajaj Bike (Pulsar 220) in 2012, thus I had faith in Bajaj as brand.


I am following-up from day one but they are denying issue. It took me 8 months to get them realize that bike has got real bent chassis issue, thus on our mail chain Bajaj representative (ASM Siddharth Kondaguli) agreed to give replacement of vehicle chassis due to bent chassis.


As I purchased new vehicle thus I requested for vehicle replacement itself instead of chassis replacement. But they denied to replace bike mentioning that bike is already registered with RTO & new BSIV vehicles are not being registered as per law.


GEMS Bajaj (Hadapsar, Pune) showroom registered bike to RTO without my consent. If it would have been replaced within first month itself then I could have got new BSIV vehicle registered as well. The delay to resolve my complaint is purely due to negligence and ignorance of Bajaj


I had option to reach Consumer court to get bike replacement along-with all additional charges paid by me on it, but I chose not to do so as it may damage the Bajaj's image. I decided to go ahead with Chassis replacement as it will be easier for Bajaj as well to resolve issue.


I sent mail to Bajaj Representative's to initiate Chassis replacement process On '12 Jan 2021', but they are now refusing to provide chassis replacement as agreed by them earlier. Thus I have no option rather than raising my voice here to get justice.


Bike is standstill in parking from day one without any use due to manufacturing defect. It has brought me and my family sadness, helplessness, harassment and torture. Bajaj Advertises Avenger by tagline ‘Feel like God!’, but now I ‘Feel like Conned !!!’ by Bajaj.

In case of further any issue, kindly bring the vehicle to the dealership for inspection and repairs if any, as per warranty terms and conditions.

@AvengerUnited Hi Team, It's been 3 weeks now from companies recent assurance that solution will be provided to my issue. No one has even bothered to communicate me regarding same. Is it really being looked into ? Or it is just time wasting tactic ? I think its high-time now for action
