When cases rise they will just keep vaccinating and vaccinating and vaccinating. When cases fall they will stop vaccinating and claim victory for the vaccines. When cases rise again they will start vaccinating and vaccinating and vaccinating once more.
This is the profoundly dumb reality in which we find ourselves. Between case peaks, when vaccination for the old and vulnerable might make, they'll be too busy declaring HErD ImMuNItY victory for the vaxx to do anything sensible.
Then in the winter when vaccination is dangerous and likely to drive cases upwards, they will pull out all of the needles and do their worst. The vaccinators can only do one thing, they only have one policy, which they will impose in response to a single stimulus.
