It's weird. I used to cry pretty regularly after the Seahawks lost important games, starting with our loss to the L.A. Raiders in the 1983 AFC Championship Game & and all the way through the ending of Super Bowl XLIX. I haven't cried after a Seahawks loss since then...

No tears after last night, even though that wasn't just an torturous ending to an absolutely disheartening game - It also signified that The End is Here. I'm sad and melancholy and irritated and nostalgic - But the waterworks didn't come...

I'm gonna chalk that up to the recent progress I've made on my mental health? I don't care any less than before - And I'm going to bear witness to the rest of this season. But I am prepared to turn the page on the PCJS/RW3 era. I'll end with a Mad Men quote I love:

"Good. And let's also say that change is neither good nor bad, it simply is. It can be greeted with terror or joy, a tantrum that says 'I want it the way it was,' or a dance that says, 'Look, something new!'"
