I'm in a bus and the guy behind me is loudly talking on the phone regarding his office politics. Apparently some guys called Ramesh and Sashi are ganging up against him to deny him the credit for the latest project. I know it's weird but I'm unexplicably invested in it all.
So my bus friend has decided to take the presentation directly to the boss on Monday along with Santosh before Ramesh/Sashi can do anything. It's like a coup d'etat. My bus friend is apparently hurt over some "Airport" incident and Sashi. What did you do Sashi????
My friend has apparently worked on the project for the last three weeks while Ramesh has been taking sick leave citing COVID. How can anyone keep testing positive over three tests in two weeks, fumes my buddy! A valid question. So while Ramesh relaxed, my friend slogged
Kahaani mein twist. It's not "Airport incident" which soured things between my friend and Sashi. It was some girl called Malvika. Sashi apparently made fun of his red shirt in front of her during some office occasion. And Malvika also laughed. So thats the source of friction.
Back to Monday. Santosh has to come early and go over some codes and stuff (missed most of the technical jargon) so that the presentation will go on smoothly. My friend is confident that Ramesh won't know a thing because these guys have apparently hidden some two pages from him.
Okay new character. Gurpreet. Don't know if it's a guy or a girl. So this Gurpreet should meet them in the canteen before the meeting so they can hand over the pendrive. I having a feeling our ally, this Santosh is an idiot. Our friend is repeating all instructions 4 times. 🙄
Woah. He has suddenly dropped his voice. And some other passenger is also talking loudly on his phone. (Yes, Rohit he is getting you the booze!). I'm having a hard time following the convo now. 😖😖😖
Ok. One more character. Called Tiger. I think he is the client or someone who deals with the client. Our friend says he is going to "activate Tiger" over the weekend to ensure the boss can be convinced. Apparently all it takes to activate Tiger is some beer.
Our friend is pumped up now. Says he is going to call Tiger right now. Why wait till the weekend. Tiger is the only guy who can talk frankly to the boss! He is dialling the Tiger now!!!
Tiger isn't lifting the call. He has called Santosh again. Apparently it's Friday night and we all know what Tiger does on a Friday evening. Sashi needs to be taught a lesson. That's more important. Sashi hasn't returned the 350 rupees he has taken from our friend also .
Folks. The boss is an idiot. The only reason he is supporting Ramesh is because they are from the same college. That's it. But what to do. He is the boss. He didn't give our friend leave to go to Indore last month also.
Important question. Why has the boss sent our friend all the way to this dealer's office in a far away place when even Rakshit (must be some junior) could have handled it? Is there a plot against him? Santosh got an MC hurled at him for giving the wrong answer i guess.
More i hear the convo, more I'm convinced that this Santosh is a total imbecile. Yes. We all remember the time he CCed the wrong person in the office email. Our guy is literally yelling *please note it down!* Sorta feeling bad for our friend. Has a useless ally. 😕😕😕
Ok back to Sashi. Sashi is married. Why is he flirting with Malvika? But why is Malvika flirting back? Yes Malvika. Why ARE you flirting back? So what if our friend had a red shirt? What's wrong in it. The floral designs were actually good apparently.
Oooh. Blackmail!! Our friend still has all the WhatsApp messages from Santosh. If he doesn't sort things out on Monday during the meeting, our friend will show the messages to the boss. Our guy is playing dangerously now!
I don't think our guy is following the right path now. Santosh has been declared an idiot. What will we benefit by blackmailing an idiot? He should humour this Santosh chap. And let him help out. Now he is again yelling at Santosh. Relax bro!
Santosh made some changes to the presentation without informing our friend. HOW DARE HE!!! HOW DID HE GET THE PASSWORD? Now our friend is yelling at him. Even the driver can hear him now. Cool down mon ami! Cool down!
Apparently our friend's mother is always right. She has told him to go to a Shani temple tomorrow to pray for success. He is asking Santosh if he knows any Shani temples around. I'm almost tempted to tell him that all Shiva temples usually have a Navagraha shrine.
He is asking Santosh to confirm if Malvika is going to come to the meeting on Monday or not. Reconfirm Santosh! Just a small call to her team lead to confirm it. Venkatesh will tell you everything. We have to strip Sashi in front of Malvika on Monday (hope not literally)

Ramesh's certificate is also false it seems. Our guy wants to hire a private detective to investigate it now. He is going to Google for private detectives now!

Don't worry folks. I did my part. As we were getting down the bus, i wished him all the best for Monday and told him not to wear the red shirt. He gave me a weird look. Hope our friend gets the credit and Malvika's good graces also 🙏🤣
