25-40% of Black USAsians alive today are descended from white enslavers; 5) enslaved Black ppl were the "preferred" source of labor as opposed to indentured servants (who were largely poor white Europeans); 6) both men & white women engaged in the r*p* of Black enslaved ppl;
7) approx 90% of enslaved Africans were taken to Brazil and the Caribbean; & half of all enslaved Black children died within their first year of life.
