Sayyed #Nasrallah: Before 1982, nothing deterred the enemy from invading or attacking Lebanon. There is a long history of kidnaps and invasions reaching the capital during that period. Deterrence properly began in 1985 when the enemy was forced out of areas it had occupied.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The enemy carried out most operations along the border area to prevent Resistance fighters from entering Palestine. All Resistance factions in Lebanon contributed to the deterrence.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The second stage of deterrence extended till 1993 which involved deterring the enemy along the border. The Resistance retaliated to the enemy's attacks during Sayyed Abbas Al-Mousawi's funeral. High deterrence was achieved between 1993 and 1996.

S #Nasrallah: The 1996 Agreement created ground for the 2006 victory. The enemy realized that attacks on civilians will be retaliated against. The 2006 war led to the enemy realizing that the capabilities on the Resistance exceed battles along the borders & fighting us is no joke

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Since 2006, the enemy has not dared attack Lebanon because they are aware of the response they will face.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: (On the "weaker than a spider's web" statement): I advise everyone who is to deliver a speech before a crowd to prepare out of respect to the people. This statement was inspired by the Quranic verse that states that the weakest house is that of a spider.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: America and Europe are in need of oil and gas, and israel sees this as a golden opportunity. Biden came to the region to ensure that israel can provide these resources as any compensation offered by the UAE and Saudi Arabia would not suffice.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Biden wants to extend the ceasefire in Yemen. He does not want war in the region. This is in our benefit as we can take advantage of this reality to guarantee our rights.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: America "distracted" Lebanon with the maritime border negotiations while the israelis worked on explorations and drillings. They are now ready for extraction.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Not only Karish, but every field is under the threat of our precision-guided missiles. If extractions in Karish begin in September before guaranteeing Lebanon's rights first, then that will lead to trouble. You'll see what we'll do then.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We have set a goal, and will do everything that will help us achieve it. The goal is abiding by the borders the Lebanese government decides on, and lifting all restrictions preventing companies from exploration, drilling, and extracting from our fields.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The Lebanese authorities is unable to make a definitive decision, and that is why the Resistance is required to take action. The negotiations are not over Karish for Qana, but all of the occupied fields for Lebanon's rights.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Some may not believe, but we did not discuss our plans or decisions over this issue with the Syrians, Iranians, nor with any of our national allies, not out of a lack of trust, but in order to not pressure them in any way.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: This is the only way to save Lebanon, and that is why we will do everything to make sure it is done.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: I am able to and ready to bring fuel from Iran, free of charge. The only requirement is for the Lebanese authorities to agree to this. Unfortunately, they do not have the courage to take such an initiative. But we are ready to.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our drones have been entering occupied airspace over the Upper Galilee back and forth, tens of times, and the enemy could not detect nor down those drones. I am revealing this for the first time.

S #Nasrallah: The enemy downed 1 of the 3 drones we sent to Karish by its airforce, the 2nd by its navy, & the 3rd was not downed. We chose one that would fall when its battery runs out. The enemy fell for the trap we had set: activating its airforce+navy & firing missiles there.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We are able to deter the enemy and bomb any target in the territorial waters of occupied Palestine. We have capabilities that allow us to attack and defend ourselves anywhere in our waters and the occupied ones.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We had to take the necessary measures to limit and prevent further airspace violations. The number of airspace violations above the South and the Beqaa drastically decreased after the retaliation of the Resistance.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We have not taken a decision to wage a war. We clearly stated that we will prevent the enemy from stealing our resources. The enemy is the one who decides if a war will ignite or not in this case.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: If war is ignited, the Lebanese people must rest assured that the Resistance has human, military, and financial capabilities that could force the enemy to succumb to the Lebanon's will.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We did not discuss with anyone whether they would aid us in any coming war, but if war ignites, the probability of other parties/sides joining it is very high.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: On those who accuse Hezbollah of being non-Lebanese: Those people do not follow any criteria in this differentiation, it is solely based on emotions and direct targeting of Hezbollah. Some even go as far to attacking the Shia in general.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our presence in Lebanon goes back to at least 1400 years. Many of those who accuse us of being non-Lebanese are ones whose grandparents come from Egypt or Europe...they either say this on purpose or out of ignorance.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our ideology is an Islamic one. There have always been Muslims in Lebanon. How is our ideology imported from elsewhere? Many teachings in the Shia school of thought were exported from Lebanon and are taught in some of the most prominent Hawzas.

Sayyed #Nasrallah: The Hijab has been worn not only in Lebanon but in the entire region for decades and centuries. Our call on Imam Mahdi is based on a belief that goes back to 1400 years. How is our ideology or culture imported? We do not allow for anyone to doubt our identity.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The threats have always been targeted at the people of Dahyeh and the South. Why is that? We are the ones who pay the price to defend Lebanon and its resources. And then they doubt our identity and loyalty.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Why was there such an aggressive campaign against the "Salam Ya Mahdi" nasheed? This nasheed destroyed all hopes that this younger generation would grow up to not care about al-Quds and all our sanctities. This generation scares and worries israel.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Those who say that we do not "look like them," and that we do not represent Lebanon's cultural image, who are you? Who said that you are the ones who represent Lebanon's cultural image? Let us read history.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Claiming that Hezbollah controls the security forces in Lebanon is not true and unjust towards those security forces and Hezbollah.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We found out about the issue of Bishop Mousa Al-Haj the same every other Lebanese citizen found out about it. We were not, and will not, be involved in this issue.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The judiciary and security forces were the ones handling this issue. The reactions that followed were very concerning and could create a path that could harm if not limit the role of the judiciary and all authorities.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Bringing money from the occupied lands into Lebanon goes against the law to begin with. Some people in Lebanon claim israel is an enemy, but deep down believe it to be a friend, ally, and the future.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Defining the specifications of the next president is a waste of time and there is no point in talking about it. We in Hezbollah have not yet begun to discuss the names of candidates for the presidency.

S #Nasrallah: We certainly care to discuss with our allies, especially those who might vote on the same candidate. We also care to make discussions with the FPM & the Marada Movement as well. We do not have a candidate of our own, but will rather support the existing candidates.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The authority of the president of the republic in Lebanon were greatly limited by the Taif Accord. The role of the PM for e.g. is more influential. Those attacking President Aoun & blaming him for the crises in Lebanon must take this into consideration.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: President Aoun is a strong character. There were some strategic decisions that none other than him would have taken. For example, there was an American veto over the involvement of the Lebanese army in the Aarsal battles. President Aoun broke this veto.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: I believe that the end of israeli entity is very near. I imagine the Zionist settlers packing their bags and leaving through every port. You'd notice that most of them have dual citizenships. We don't even have to wait another 40 years to witness this.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The elements of israel's survival recede and subside, while the elements of its demise are becoming more prevalent.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: We provided the Palestinian Resistance with all the information we had through the joint operations room during the Sword of al-Quds battle. All parties of the Resistance Axis constantly communicate. The IRGC was also part of this joint operation room.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: States that claim they are normalizing for the benefit of Palestine and the Palestinian people...this is a different level of belittling the minds of the Arab and Muslim people.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our brothers in Hamas have unanimously reached a conclusion that they cannot turn their backs to Syria as it is a crucial element of the Axis of Resistance.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: I personally care about repairing ties between Syria and Hamas as the direction of the fight is clear. Syria is open for reconciliation and the overall course is positive.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: I cannot act as a mediator in any negotiations concerning the war on Yemen as I am in support of Sayyed al-Houthi, Ansarullah, the oppressed Yemeni people. A mediator asks both sides for concessions; what can be asked for Ansarullah to give up?

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Even Iran was very clear in this matter; they cannot act as mediators as Ansarullah cannot and has nothing to compromise.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our issue with Saudi Arabia and the UAE is not based on [religious] ideological bases, but on political and ethical ones related to Yemen.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The goal behind the arrests in UAE is to pressure Hezbollah. This issue needs to be tackled. What harm has Hezbollah done to the UAE?

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: It does not seem that the situation is headed for a settlement between Turkey and Syria, as Erdogan is still betting on some things to improve his position. We cannot deny the existence of Turkish ambitions to control Syrian or Iraqi lands.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Hezbollah does not any ambitions or projects in Iraq, and we do not support any party over another. The role that Hezbollah has always been keen to play in Iraq is to find common ground and bring perspectives closer.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: If Iran wanted to have greater influence in the region, it would have reconciled with the Americans, abandoned Palestine, and returned to its role as the "policeman of the Middle East."

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Iran's stance on the Palestinian cause is ideological and religious, and it does not await any gratitude for it. Their stance is not for the sake of having influence in the region.

S #Nasrallah: Iran has never asked me for anything that would serve their supposed influence, whether with regard to Lebanon or the region. The reason many people cannot understand this is because they are accustomed to embassies and leaders giving orders, but we don't have that.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: The only thing Iran asked me was when Haj Qassem asked me for aid Iraq, and this was for the sake of Iraq not Iran. Iran helped Iraq and Syria prevent the expansion of ISIS, and standing by its friends and allies does not mean that it controls them.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Hezbollah's vision for the next stage with regard to domestic issues in Lebanon is to be involved more than ever. We will cooperate with all parties except for those who treat us with animosity.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Hezbollah is not weak. 40 years on, Hezbollah is a fully-grown young man. The party itself is "youthful" and flourishing. Almost all influential roles in Hezbollah are fulfilled by young men.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Our victories and accomplishments are first thanks to Allah (SWT). I do not attribute any of those accomplishments to myself; they are truly the fruit of the work of the entire party.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: In the region, our vision involves strengthening the Axis of Resistance, strengthening ties with the Palestinian brothers, and become more openness and present domestically.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: When Prime Minister Saad Hariri was arrested in Saudi Arabia, the goal was to push matters in the direction of a civil war with the Resistance.

Sayyed #Nasrallah: When we tell the people that they are the purest, most honorable people, this is not a compliment. Those people stood by us despite all odds. Across 40 years, they withstood what no one can tolerate, despite the challenges that only intensified with time.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Imam Husayn (a.s.) excused his companions if they wanted to leave before the battle of Karbala in the dark of the night. Those people did not abandon us nor turn their backs to us, not in the light of day nor in the dark of the night.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: Were it not for the great trust that we have in those people, I wouldn't have said what I said in the previous speech about the possibility of war to protect Lebanon's rights.

Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah: With these loyal people, and this advanced Resistance, the future of Lebanon in the region will be bright and stable.
