This new Meta ads campaign is going to change the game for eCom businesses: ~THREAD~


Since iOS14, Meta ads have seen a noticeable performance decline due to signal loss. On Monday the 15th, Meta will release it's first major product rollout since iOS14 which is the company's answer to the performance declines we experience in a post-signal loss world.


These are called Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns. So what are they and how are they going to change the game?


Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns are a brand new campaign type using a brand new machine learning algorithm built to target your ideal customer more efficiently. The goal is to target your best customers with minimal input.


These campaigns will combine prospecting and retargeting into one campaign. You're able to acquire new customers while focusing on retention and retargeting all in one campaign type.


You'll be able to upload up to 150 creatives at once and let the algorithm allocate budget and placement as it sees fit. The targeting will automatically be broad, you'll just decide which country you want to advertise in.


While this is taking the power out of advertisers' hands to a degree, it should significantly reduce creative fatigue and increase audience liquidity. It also will replace having to break out separate creative testing campaigns which can be a pain.


ASC will support dynamic ads and static ads as well, and it's considered a best practice to incorporate them into your ASC along with your regular video ad creative.


From what I'm hearing, the results have been pretty great in their beta tests so far. I was told they're seeing 20% decreases in CPAs pretty consistently and even more in many cases.


So how can you set these up for yourself? These campaigns are currently at 50% rollout across accounts and will be fully available to everyone on Aug 15th.
