Fascinating how the "scientists" & "academics" who are usually involved with groups/campaigns/studies/APPGs that reinforce the bias of certain media/politicians/Peers etc, also have ties to religious-/far-right groups, think tanks etc. Almost as if there's a certain agenda...
Typically, with a few exceptions, those who have worked with/consulted/promoted disinformation groups are Conservatives. Conservative &, usually also, climate change sceptics/outright deniers. Unfortunately, this includes the new UK Cabinet.
And, as I've said so many times now, its certainly no coincidence that the same people who pushed Covid disinformation, are also the same folk who'll slow down/stop work against climate change, & will also help strip everyone of their Rights.
Liz Truss is now Prime Minister. If you thought Johnson was a dangerous idiot then you ain't seen nothing yet...
Right wing media dominate the "News", they'll tell you otherwise though, of course: "woke", "cancel culture", & moral panics to rile people up & distract them as they chip away at dismantling Human Rights. "Argh! @joelycett was sarcastic!" though, eh?
