#Varaha_Avatar #Charama_Slokam #Upadesh_To_BoomiDevi When Varaha, MahaVishnu's avatar rescued Boomadevi after vanquishing Hiranyakshan He found Her crying instead of rejoicing. He asked Her for the reason. She replied, "You came running to rescue me because I am your wife,

sishya, but what about the people in the world? Will you come to their rescue when in time of need like you did for me?" Immediately Bhagawan replied which is a Charama Slokha and an Upadesha to Boomedevi. Sthite manasi susvasthe shareere sati yo narahaa lDhaatu-saamye sthite

smartaa Vishwaroopam ca Maamajam llTatas-tam mriyamaaNam tu kaashtta paashaaNa sannibham lAham smaraami madbhaktam nayaami paramaam gatim ll Lord Varaha addresses Mother Earth or Bhoodevi who expresses concern for the well being of all Her children. "If anyone thinks of Me, when

the mind is sound (sthite manasi) with the body in good health (suswasthe shareere) and with all mental and physical faculties working perfectly and intact (dhaatusaamye sthite) thinks that I am indeed the very cause of this universe (or the form of this universe, vishwaroopam),

that I am without birth (ajam) - then I assure You, Devi that I will remember this devotee of Mine when he/she is on his/her deathbed, lying helplessly like a stone or a log of wood, and personally take him/her to the Supreme Abode." The main point of the sloka is Aham Smaraami

Madbhaktam – Always remember me. Hence we have to inculcate the habit of thinking, speaking and serving the Lord with our body from young. When we are old and in our deathbed none of our faculties will be under our control. At that time we will not know what to think or utter.

So we have to worship the Lord by offering flowers and chanting His name when we are healthy and our faculties are under our control. The Lord then assures us through Boomadevi that He will never forsake His devotee and will certainly grant Him Moksha. This Upaya is called the

sukha upaya said by sukaram. Sukaram is Varaha, sukha means easy. This is the easiest way to break the cycle of birth and death. So if we have to climb hillocks or travel far to visit the temples we have to do it when we have the strength. The three rules to follow has been tied

in 3 knots by Boomidevi. Ordination, self-sacrifice and recitation of the name are three knots. These three commandments of Bhagavan were shown by Bhumi Prati in her #Andal Avatar. Let us follow these simple rules and attain salvation. Varaha Charama Slokam
