23 SEPTEMBER Kwasi Kwarteng, the Chancellor, outlines his mini budget, which goes on to spook the markets.
14 OCTOBER Following significant pressure as markets crash Kwarteng is fired by Truss.
19 OCTOBER Another front bencher gone, this time Suella Braverman, the Home Sec resigns Chaos in the Commons over fracking vote.
20 OCTOBER Pressure on Liz Truss becomes too much - she resigns to become the shortest serving PM
23 OCTOBER Another Tory leadership contest kicks off - Boris Johnson apparently considers a comeback, before pulling out of the race.
24 OCTOBER Penny Mordaunt also pulls out the race so Rishi Sunak becomes the third PM of the year.
1 NOVEMBER Matt Hancock announces he is going on I'm a Celeb and is suspended as a Tory MP.
8 NOVEMBER Gavin Williamson resigns from govt following allegations of bullying.
